What We Make

From Single Prints to Event Runs

Every project is printed in-house using durable PLA, PLA+, PETG, and TPU materials. Whether you need a one-off piece, a prototype, or a small event run, we handle the full project from start to finish.

Hand-Sized Prints

Palm-sized

Palm-sized objects: figures, miniatures, small models, and quick prototypes that fit in your hand.

Desk Display Pieces

Larger Pieces

Larger desk and shelf pieces: trophies, busts, decor pieces, and props that anchor a desk or shelf.

Articulated Pieces

Print-in-place

Articulated dragons, slugs, lizards, and other moveable creatures. Print-in-place pieces with built-in joints, no assembly needed.

Custom Items

One-of-a-kind

Custom decor, planters, organizers, dice towers, board game pieces, custom signs, scale models, and one-off creations. If you can describe it, we can probably print it.

Replacement Parts

Custom-fit

Discontinued or hard-to-find parts. Knobs, brackets, custom fittings, and replicas of broken originals.

Prototypes & Patents

Iterative

Quick prototypes for inventors, patent applications, and makers. Architectural models, working models, and proofs of concept. Single units to test ideas before committing to bigger runs.

Fidgets & Clickers

Pocket-sized

Clickers, spinners, sliders, and worry pieces. Small satisfying mechanisms that print as one part and work straight off the bed.

Home & Decor

Around the house

Vases, planters, drink sleeves, light boxes, organizers, and wall pieces. Practical things that still look like somebody chose them.

How Multi-Color Printing Works

Our printers change filament mid-print, so a single piece can carry several colors without painting or gluing anything together. Team colors, brand colors, two-tone accents, and lettering that reads clearly against its background are all normal work for us.

There is a mechanical cost to it. Every color change purges a little filament to clear the nozzle, and every change adds machine time. That is why a four-color piece takes longer than the same piece in one color even though the shape is identical. Past four colors the purge and the time climb faster than most designs benefit from, which is why we usually suggest stopping there. When a design genuinely needs five or more, we run it.

Design Work On This Service

If We Are Modeling It For You

Print costs are quoted per project. Design hours, when we are building the model from scratch, are billed separately at an hourly rate with a one hour minimum. If we are designing the model first, we usually cannot price the print until the model exists, because the print cost comes from the finished shape: how much material it uses and how long it sits on the printer. We quote the design work up front, then price the print once there is something real to measure. If anything moves after that, you hear it from us before it happens.

This page covers Design To Print. We model it, we print it, and you get the finished piece. No design file is delivered. If you need a print-ready STL or 3MF of the model to keep, that is a separate service at a higher hourly rate. See CAD Design for how the two differ.
CAD design space is limited and fills up quickly. Modeling is hands-on work and only one project moves at a time, so we cannot take on every CAD request. Send yours through the quote form and we will tell you honestly whether we have room for it.

Absolutely incredible work from Cuddy and WestSide 3D! I needed a project done ASAP for a school art project and it was done very quickly at a high quality. Cuddy was very helpful, communicative, and had a great turn around time. If I am ever in need of a project in the future I would definitely purchase again!

Great company with exceptional service. Saved me when I needed my final project printed for a class. They got back to me very quickly after I sent in my inquiry, and were very helpful through every step of the process. Messages and emails were responded to very quickly and professionally, updates with pictures were given during the printing process, and they were incredibly flexible to be able to get me my print in time. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible work! The 3D-printed dragon and squid are fun, detailed, and beautifully made. Super fast turnaround and delivery too. 10/10! Highly recommend you check them out! We also got the advent calendar and cannot wait to see what surprises are waiting for us each day.

Common Questions

Anything not covered here, put it on the quote form and we will answer it in the reply rather than make you chase us.

Can you print my STL or 3MF file?
Yes. Upload it on the quote form. STL and 3MF are the two model formats we accept. We check it for printability and come back with a line-item quote. If you do not have a file and we are modeling it for you, we quote the design work first and price the print once the model exists, since the print cost comes from the finished shape.
What materials do you use?
PLA, PLA+, PETG, and TPU. PLA and PLA+ suit most decorative and indoor pieces. PETG is tougher and handles outdoor or warmer conditions. TPU is flexible, used for grips, cases, and anything that needs to squash. Those four are what we run. We do not print ABS, resin, nylon, carbon fiber or other filled composites, and we do not do metal printing, casting, or engraving. If your project needs one of those we will say so up front instead of taking the job.
What is your typical print size?
Most projects fit comfortably on our print bed in one piece. Larger pieces get printed in clean sections and assembled with bolts or glue. For unusually large projects, ask on your quote and we'll let you know what we can do case-by-case.
Can you print multi-color prints?
Yes. Our printers swap filament mid-print, so one piece can carry several colors with no painting or gluing. Team colors, brand colors, and lettering that reads against its background are routine. Each color change purges a little filament and adds machine time, so a four-color piece takes longer on the printer than the same shape in one color. Most designs stop looking better past four colors, which is why we tend to suggest stopping there, but we will run more when the design genuinely calls for it.
Can you quote a print before the model is designed?
Usually not, and it is better that we say so. A print is priced on the finished shape: how much material it uses and how many hours it sits on the printer. Until the model exists there is nothing to measure, so any number we gave you would be a guess. What we can do is quote the design work up front, then price the print once there is a real model. You approve both before anything runs.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We make single items, full event runs, or anything in between. Single-item projects are welcome.
How do you get our order to us?
Three ways. Meet us somewhere public around Stanislaus County, have it dropped at your home or office anywhere in the county, or shipped USPS at going rates. Bigger pieces that print in sections get assembled before they go out, so you are not handed a bag of parts. Delivery outside the county may carry a small fee depending on distance.
Will my print be perfectly smooth?
3D printed items may contain small imperfections like layer lines. This is completely normal and a part of the process. We strive to make the best product possible, and any small imperfection makes each item unique in its own way. Quality is our top priority and we take care that every item meets quality standards before it leaves the shop. If for any reason you are unhappy with the final product, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Do you sign NDAs or do confidential work?
No. We don't do NDA work or sign non-disclosure agreements. If your project needs to be kept top-secret, you'll need to find someone else. We're happy to print prototypes, patent application models, and custom one-off designs, but we don't take on projects with confidentiality requirements.
